CLC is a Christian based school with daily indoor & outdoor learning, play, and snack, along with a strong focus on life skills.

Students must be dropped off & picked up through the convenient one way circle drive. The school is located in the country just outside of Tuscola. CLC follows the public school calendars.

 CLC will be a DCFS licensed facility and equipped with building locks and cameras for secured safety. The school will be professionally cleaned every month.

CLC is part of the Illinois Farm To School community. We follow a Harvest of the Month program and target a couple different garden grown food items by learning about them, preparing them for our daily snack, as well as discussing the nutritional value and meals to make at home as a family.

We have 12 chickens that live in a secure coop near the school. Each day, the students will collect their eggs, from a convenient side egg box, feed the chickens and manage the upkeep of the coop.

Cattle

Every year our current heifers will have babies. The students will get to name them. The cattle live in a fenced in pasture near the school. Students will feed them, observe their vet visits, as well as watch them grow throughout the year.

On Fridays, the 4 year old classes will have Faith Learning Time where Ms. Pelz teaches us a story from the Bible in a fun and interactive way.

Goats

We have 2 female Boer goats. They are in a fenced in area. The students will be able to hand feed and pump water into their pen.
